Rosh Hashanah service will be held on the beach today

You can usher in the Jewish New Year with a seaside Rosh Hashanah service this morning.

All are welcome to visit 53 Shore Road at 10 a.m. for a brief and informal service that will include prayers, a Torah portion, shofar blowing and the traditional casting off of sins. The service was organized by Marla Cornejo.

People are being asked to bring their own beach chairs.
