You can tour Sylvestor Manor for free on two dates this month

Sylvester Manor will open its house and grounds to the public on two Saturdays this month, today and August 18, from 2 to 4 p.m. for free, self-guided tours.

Stroll the historic gardens, which are being returned to their earlier splendor and see what restoration efforts are being made to the Manor itself.

Maps will be available and docents on hand to answer questions.
